Water Conservation: Practical Tips to Save Our Precious Resource

Water is the most essential resource on Earth. "Save Water Save Earth", in this blog you are going to read about essential of water, some important tips on how to save water? and some suggestions for saving water. It is essential for all life, including humans, animals, and plants. Water is used for drinking, bathing, cooking, cleaning, and irrigation. It is also used in industry and manufacturing. However, water is becoming increasingly scarce due to climate change, population growth, and pollution.

That is why it is important to save water whenever possible. By saving water, we can help to protect the environment and ensure that everyone has access to clean water.

However, water is a finite resource. Only a small fraction of the Earth's water is fresh and accessible for human use. The rest is saltwater or frozen in glaciers and ice caps.

Climate change is also making water more scarce. As the Earth warms, more water evaporates from the oceans and into the atmosphere. This leads to more frequent and severe droughts.Water scarcity is a major problem around the world. Over two billion people do not have access to safe drinking water. And over four billion people experience water scarcity for at least one month each year.Water scarcity is a threat to human health, food security, and economic development. It can also lead to conflict and displacement.

Why is it important to save water?

Soil should be removed from the dam and river during summer season.

Every year after rain, there are floods in many places and a lot of water gets washed away. Dams have been built. Dams dry up in the summer. And every time soil comes along with the water flowing into the dam, due to which their capacity to store water reduces.

If soil is removed from the dam during sunny days, the water storage capacity of the dam will increase before the rains and more water can be stored in the dam. Everyone will get water and the capacity to provide water to agriculture will also increase. This soil in the dam proves to be very suitable for farming. The farmers themselves will take it if it is given at a cheaper price or free of cost. Besides, many rivers dry up in the sun, if they are also cleaned in the same way, their capacity to store water will also increase.

Also, if we drill small bores in the dry river and make a chamber over it, it will be beneficial in future. During floods, the flowing water will go into the ground through that small bore and increase the capacity of water inside the ground. The bore can also be of 10 to 15 feet. This can also be done in the dam during sunny days. Due to the chamber, soil will not go inside and only water will go inside.

Rain water harvesting in direct language : The rain water which flows from the roof of the house or society into the drains is released underground through rain water harvesting.Rainwater harvesting is the collection and storage of rain for reuse. It is a simple and effective way to conserve water, especially in areas where droughts are common.

A rainwater harvesting system typically consists of a gutter system that collects rainwater from the roof of a building and directs it to a storage tank. The rainwater can then be used for a variety of purposes, such as watering plants, washing cars, and flushing toilets.

Rainwater harvesting has a number of benefits, including :

Water conservation, Reduced water bills,Improved water quality,Reduced runoff

If you know about rain harvesting then it is good. There are countless benefits of rain harvesting. If you live in a society or a bungalow then you will benefit by getting rain harvesting done. If the scheme continues, you may get some percentage rebate in your house tax.You will get tax benefit according to the municipality of the area in which you live. The second benefit will be that the bore water problem of your house or society will be reduced. Rain harvesting will increase the water level in that area and you will continue to get good water through bore even in sunny days. Make sure to get rain harvesting done.

Conclusion :

Saving water is essential for the future of our planet. By taking simple steps to conserve water, we can all make a difference. Everybody has to do some thing for saving water for future, take a step and start to do something in your area. Go for rain water harvesting, very useful for future.
